Rydal - stepping stones across the River Rothay

The surroundings here are wonderfully calm and peaceful - the scene is alongside a very pleasant and quiet country lane known as “Under Loughrigg” and in front of the historic and substantial “Stepping Stones” fine property which was once home to William Wordsworth’s son.
