Ambleside - Bridge House in autumn - Lake District images
Bridge House is a tiny two-room building (one room upstairs, one room downstairs) that spans Stock Beck in the middle of Ambleside. The building, which is listed “Grade I” on the National Heritage List for England, has had many uses, such as an apple store, a weaving shop and a tea room. Bridge House is now in the care of the National Trust and is very popular with visitors.
